The Get Into It interactive, age-appropriate service-learning curriculum is designed to advance students' civic knowledge and skill development, promote acceptance and understanding of people's differences and to motivate them to become advocates for and together with all people.

Highlights of these simple, accessible, and results-oriented new resources include:

  • Interactive, web-based curriculum for teachers and students, designed not only to educate you about special olympics, but also to generate interest, excitement and an attitude of "I can make a difference"
  • Fun, interactive, creative activities and experiential role plays that promote respect and acceptance among all people, with or without disabilities.
  • Engaging and powerful youth-oriented videos that teach about this important social movement

Special Olympics Project UNIFY started in 2008 as a U.S. national project, funded by the U.S Department of Education, with the goal to activate youth around the country in an effort to develop school communities where all young people are agents of change - fostering respect, dignity, and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities by utilizing the programs and initiatives of Special Olympics.
